In the okinawa Nicu he recieved many tests however they did not have the equipment needed to support him while in an MRI so we had to be medevaced to San diego Ca. We really trusted and missed the Okinawa NICU staff. i wish we could have brought them with us. Gabriel was in the okinawa NICU from april 1st until april 19th. He self extibated once and he was breathing fine without the machines, but becasue he did not have a gag reflex we had to keep him on it to protect his airway.
